What are people afraid of? Why are we afraid of shakes and spiders? Evolution has primed us to fear something but not the others.

if emotions are signals, they evolved to be trustworthy signals. They’ve evolved to be signals of a sort that other people could take account of, and why is that signals would evolve? Is actually a very interesting question.
